This Privacy Policy provides information on how JCC Lighting collects and processes your personal data through your use of the Website, including any data you may provide through the Website when you sign up for our mailing lists, download white papers, or purchase a product or service.

However, since we do not have direct control over the policies or practices of participating merchants and other third-parties, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We recommend and encourage that you always review the privacy policies of merchants and other third-parties before you provide any personal information or complete any transaction with such parties.

You have the right to make requests to JCC Lighting such as information about your personal data that is being processed by us, erasure of your personal data, and to object to or restrict the processing of your personal data for certain purposes (such as direct marketing). 2. The data we collect about you

It does not include data where identifiers have been removed such that individuals cannot be identified (and could not be re-identified using data that is readily available) (anonymous data).

When you use or connect to the Website through your computer or a mobile device, JCC Lighting collects certain information from and about its users in a few ways: directly from our web server logs, from the User, with the aid of cookies, with web beacons, and through the use of website analytics through a third-party service provider.

JCC Lighting will automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. JCC Lighting does not collect, store, or see any customer financial or credit card information.

JCC Lighting is committed to protecting your personal data from unauthorized access by having various administrative and technology safeguards in place. Most browsers will show a lock icon in the bottom status bar on secure pages.

Any other communication you transmit to the Website, such as questions, comments, suggestions, or the like, will not be encrypted or otherwise secured or treated confidentially.

JCC Lighting collects and shares aggregated and anonymised site statistics with its affiliates and strategic partners to help enhance its service offerings but does not sell personal data to third-party marketing companies.

If you fail to provide personal data where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). We may share your personal data with third-parties, including internal third-parties (other JCC Lighting affiliated or related entities), external third-parties (such as vendors and service providers, including, but not limited to cybersecurity companies, analytics companies, market researchers), and third-parties to whom we may choose to acquire, sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to any third-parties.

We will only disclose your personal data to the aforementioned third-parties (i) to fulfill your service requests; (ii) if such disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or law enforcement or government regulatory authorities, in which case we shall give you as much advance notice as is reasonably practicable in order to allow you to limit or restrict such disclosure; or (iii) is required to be disclosed in order for us to protect our legal rights or defend against liability; or (iv) in connection with a company reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale.

We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

5. International transfers

Given that the Internet is a global environment, using the Internet to collect and process personal data necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international basis. Therefore, by browsing this Website and communicating electronically with us, you acknowledge our processing of personal data in this manner.

We share your personal data within JCC Lighting’s related and affiliated entities, including, but not limited to Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc located in USA. In addition, we may also share your information with service providers, such as cloud service providers. This will involve transferring your data outside the UK.Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure an equivalent degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring that appropriate safeguards are implemented. We will only transfer data to countries deemed to have adequate levels of protection for personal data (i.e. provides an equivalent level of protection of personal data as the UK data protection framework), or where this is not the case we will put in place European Commission approved standard contractual clauses to give the personal data the same protection it has in the UK.  We will also conduct a risk assessment of the laws and practices around data protection in the destination country.

6. Data security

They will only process your personal data on our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality as well as other obligations as required by law.

How long will you use my personal data for?

No fee usually required
